THE BIG 30!!!

So on Decemeber 22nd....Drew turned the BIG 30!!! He loves being 30!! Crazy to think he's that old now, but he couldn't of been happier! For his birthday he had a joint celebration with his good friend Jereme!! He had a whole day full of fun and surprises!! Thanks to everyone who help celebrate his big day...he had a blast. The morning started off with a yummy breakfast in bed...and then he was whisked away to ride race cars with his buddies!! He was suppose to go golfing but due to the rainy rainy weather they went with plan B...then the guys all went to sushi where Drew says it's the best he's had hands down! Next off was a little relaxation time as he enjoyed his first ever massage!! Then he finally came home for a quick wardrobe change and then we were off for a surprise dinner and bowling night at Lucky Strike! The food was not your average bowling alley food it was very gourmet and yummy and the bowling was a trendy lounge/night club vibe! To top it off he had his favorite red velvet cake..it was a great day!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DREW WE LOVE YOU!!!

Christmas Festivities!!

Okay so I know Christmas was a long ways away...but I have to catch up! Here's a quick re-cap of all the festivities.....we continued again with our tradition of riding the train to see Santa at the North Pole...(aka Irvine Park) the kids had a blast and were loving Santa!! Then this year my entire family came out for the whole week of Christmas. We started with welcoming in a new brother-in-law...Sara and Todd got married on Drew's birthday at the San Diego Temple! It was pouring down rain not the ideal weather for a wedding...but it turned out beautiful anyways and the two love birds I don't think even noticed! After the wedding we did the usual family activities...games...movies and eating! The kids loved having all their Aunts and Uncles and had plenty of attention. For Christmas Eve we all went to Knotts Berry Farm and had a blast! Then later that night we joined Drew's family for their traditional mexican food at Olvera Street! It was yummy can't go wrong there! Christmas was crazy with all those people it took FOREVER to open presents!! It was sad when everyone had to leave...lets just say the kids went through with drawls for awhile:)

Nothing Like A Little Snow!

For Thanksgiving this year Drew's parents rented a Cabin (okay a BIG house) in Big Bear! We were so lucky with the cold weather..we arrived to snow and lots of it!! It was a fun time hanging out with cozy fires, hot tubing, lots of games and plenty of good food..what could be better? We had a yummy Thanksgiving dinner and the kids just LOVED the snow. They had a blast sledding down the mountain. To this day Dylan still asks everyday if we could go to the snow! It was a fun trip and to think it was only one and a half hours away makes it even better!!!

Happy Birthday To Me!!

This year I had a special treat!! It just so happened that one of my really good friends got married on the weekend of my birthday, which was in Palm Springs. So Drew and I got a getaway KIDS FREE to Palm Springs for the weekend and celebrated my birthday and Brandy's wedding right with Facials at the JW Marriott, laying by the pool, shopping at the outlets, eating yummy food, and of course attending her beautiful wedding and reception. We danced the night away and had a blast!! I don't think I've danced like that since my college days:) It was a fun time and I especially enjoyed spending time with my wonderful husband!! I've decided that maybe I need birthday weekends every year!!!
