Better Then Disneyland

A few weeks ago we took a trip to the Ranch in Utah with all of Drew's family...minus Seth and Holly:( The kids had a blast! We stayed in a 7,000 sq ft house with a workout room, game room, theatre room, spa and a mini golf course. Let's just say the kids were never bored:) The first day we went to an indoor aquatic center with splash parks, whirlpools and water slides. The water slide was pretty scary...it was a long pitch black tube. The kids didn't seem to mind as they went on it over and over again. Then the next two days we went to the ranch which included endless hours of riding the quads and horses. We could not get Dylan off the quads...he kept wanting to ride them over and over and over. They had a race track which we all rode on and he loved going off the jumps...looks like Drew will get his wish of having a motorcycle loving son:) Brinley loved riding the horses and even proved how much of a cowgirl she is when one of the horses took off to the barn with Brinley still on her back! Let's just say Brinley was a little scared, but after she saw the applause and praises of everyone watching after she was safely off the horse...she proceeded to say "I wasn't scared at all!" And continued to ask and make sure everyone saw her ride the horse like a cowgirl...that's our Brinley! Even Drew and I got to enjoy a horse back ride...even though my horse decided to buck 3 or 4 times. She's a true girl and didn't like any of the other horses getting too close to her behind or in front of her:) So if they did dare...she'd kick them...which sent me on a little ride. At least I know how to hold on. The best part about the ranch was spending time as a family away from the hussle and bussle of the world. Drew and I both decided it would be nice to take a break and let time stand still for awhile. Maybe that would help stop our kids from growing so quickly! It seems like out on the ranch you forget about the stresses of life and just enjoy the beauty around you... we all can't wait to go back:)

Easter Time!!

We had a great Easter this year with all 3 kids!! It started out with my cute friend putting together an easter egg hunt for the kiddos which they had a blast finding the eggs. Then the Easter bunny came and the kids we're so happy! But I think they're favorite part is finding eggs so another Egg hunt was a must!

ARIZONA TIME!

The kids love to go visit Grandma and Grandpa Walker in Arizona! They know it's going to be a long trip which doesn't help us at all when after 5 minutes on the freeway.."Brinley asks are we there yet?" This sets the pattern in the car and between Brinley and Dylan this becomes a very LONG road trip! But it's worth every minute of it because once we're there the kids are in heaven. Playing one thing after another and exploring new surroundings. This trip they loved going on their nature hike to the waterfalls in Sabino Canyon. And they were very excited when Grandma told them the Easter Bunny came early to their house just for them:) Tylee loved chasing around the cats when they dare decided to come out of hiding. We always love going to Arizona because they have our favorite restaurant Oregano's which we frequent multiple times when we're there:) With the fun times and great food...we can't wait to venture back to Arizona even if it is a LONG road trip:)

Ragnar Club 50

Picture this 12 girls in two vans...running over 240 miles from Huntington Beach to Coronado Island in a little over 24 hours straight...yes this is the Ragnar and I've become a big fan!! Loved it loved it loved it and I for sure will do it again next year!! Loved my team club 50 (yes that is the combined number of kids between all 12 ladies...okay so maybe it's 53 but 50 sounded better:) Lets just say we made many onlookers puzzled and shocked at why we had so many kids!!! The only bummer of the race was that it was during the one weekend where California decided to have record breaking highs. We were feelin HOT HOT HOT!! Let's just say it didn't make our hills any easier! Luckily we had a great van that sprayed us down and refueled us along the way! Overall it was such a fun time to bond with friends and more importantly be amazed at the body and what it can do crammed in a van for over 24 hours...no "real" meals...running at crazy hours of the day and night...with absolutely no sleep only Monsters and 5 hour energy drinks pumped into us. Hey but at least we had muscle milk to look forward too at the end of each race...that stuff is AMAZING!!! Until next year.....when I'll do it all over again:)
