July 4th...more like FUN DAY!!

Here's the day: 6:00am alarm goes off...both Drew and I get ready to run the 10K. And yes it's another race between us..the stakes are high!! And the winner is........you guess it ME:) One day Drew will beat me but until then I have to show him who's the runner in the family!! We finish the race head home...get Brinley ready to run the 1K at 9:30am...she's at the starting line getting a little nervous..but finishes awesome and is so excited to get her Medal! Dylan wants a medal too so he runs a little ways in to get one! They're both proud as can be! Then we head home and change into swim suits because Grandma and Grandpa have rented a water slide bounce house that seriously is worth every penny. The kids we're on that playing for hours and hours and hours. We had a yummy yummy family BBQ and just enjoyed the warm weather and water fun. I snuck in a little nap as I was exhausted!! Then we hit up the fireworks. Ladera Ranch has some of the best fireworks in all of Orange County! The show seriously lasts at least 30 minutes! This was Tylee's first fire work show and she was in amazement! The kids started strong, but by the last few songs they were out cold!! By 11:00pm we were all snug in our beds fast asleep! And that concludes our Fun day!!

Family Visit!!

At the end of June my mom and brother Matt came to visit for a week. While Matt and his friend were at a soccer camp, my mom stayed and hung out with me and spoiled the kids rotten as usual!! Tylee loved her new ride Mr. Dino and rides it backwards around the house! It's pretty funny to watch. She refuses to go forward! We managed to squeeze a little wakeboard session and the kids had a great time! Drew even tried to teach me how to drive the boat....I think so that he can have someone pull him for a change!! It was perfect weather and everyone got up...even though it took Matt awhile to figure it out:) Brinley and Tylee both had a crush on Tyler, Matt's friend! I guess this is what we have in store for us in the years to come! It was a great visit and we were sad to see them go!!

Brinley Graduates Preschool!!

What a fun time for Brinny girl!! She's officially done with Preschool and moving on to Kindergarten. She's loved loved loved going to preschool and has learned so much!! She also loved her teacher Ms. Jacobs and we were told she was the mother hen of the class!! We are so proud of her and can't wait to continue to see her growth in the years to come! She's one smart little cookie and we love her!!

SINGER'S COMPANY PERFORMANCE!!!

Brinley is quite the entertainer!! She loves to perform..so she was very excited for all her many performances with her Singer's Company, which is a singing and dance group! On her last performance her Grandma and Grandpa Fenn game along with her Uncle Tanner and Aunt Lindsay. It was at the Irvine Spectrum afterwards she enjoyed celebrating with lunch and cupcake decorating!! By the end of all 3 performances even Dylan was singing all the songs:) It was quite cute!
